Yay to me cause I kicked major ass last night in poker. Had a lot of people show up for the game, more than I had planned for in fact. Ended up having to use both cases of my chips. We played no limit texas hold em with the pot up to 140 bucks.
I took every cent of it...
The game started off slow but soon after the first hour it started to pick up. I could tell my skills had improved since last we played. Bluffing and stealing the blinds, picking up on their tells and exploiting them, I was really on a roll. I started knocking people out one by one. A few got upset and left. The rest stayed around as me and another guy went head to head. From there it went back and forth for about another hour until I went "all in" and took him for everything he was worth.
It was a great time and just what I needed to cheer me up. It really makes me look foward to playing in a real casino later this year.
Oh yeah and a bud light beer float tastes surprisingly ok :P

Try it, I thought it would be nasty also.
Teach yourself. No better way to learn than to play online. Although the game we play is more about playing people than playing the cards you are dealt.
